Miss Ormerod and Miss Withnell are so proud of all performers- you worked really hard and told the Nativity story beautifully. We would also like to thank all our families who came to watch. 

Reception have been working super hard in preparation for Christmas. We hope we have posted all of your letters! 

We have really enjoyed started Let's Get Brushing.

Last week we wrapped up warm and made the most of the cold weather. We talked about what changes had happened from Autumn to Winter. We also went looking for signs of the cold. 

Lat week in Reception, we celebrated Nursery Rhyme week. Over the course of the week we learnt 5 Nursery Rhymes: 

- Sing a Song of Sixpence

This week we have been learning about number one. We have been practicing our formation of number one by saying- straight down the birthday candle. We have even been making houses for number one, look at all the ways we have been able to show one! 

We are continuing to work so hard in Reception. Over the past couple of weeks we have been engaging in lots of activities to develop our fine motor skills and even better we have been working so well as a team. 

The children have settled wonderfully into our school- we are all so proud of you. 

This week our story focus has been the Three Billy Goats Gruff, so we decided to make bridges in outdoor adventures. We all displayed great problem solving skills and lots of team work supporting our friends.
