Mr Ingleby is the Art Subject Leader at The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School. Art is part of our Arts Faculty which is led by Miss Bonsor.
The Art Curriculum is designed to promote artistic interest, confidence and creativity. We want our children to be able to take risks, make creative choices, as well as enjoy and succeed in Art. We encourage children to view their artwork as unique and individual. Our curriculum builds on previous year’s skills allowing children to build a range of artistic techniques. Our studies include looking at different artists who are chosen to inspire, influence and support children in creating pieces of art. We promote artistic knowledge and creativity as a valuable tool that will give our children opportunities within the wider world.
