Mrs Southward is the Mathematics Subject Leader at The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School. Maths is part of our STEM Faculty which is led by Mrs Billingsley.
Our mathematics curriculum is designed with the knowledge that maths is essential to everyday life. We aim to provide all children with a high-quality mathematics education, which provides a foundation for understanding the world and a sense of enjoyment and curiosity about the subject.
Our aim is that by the time children leave our school they will be fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics, they will be able to reason mathematically, as well as solve problems by applying their knowledge and skills.
