3S Making Music

In Year 3 this half term, we have been very lucky to have been joined by Mrs Rayton from the Lancashire Music Service.  She is an expert in teaching music and is a much better singer than Mr Thompson!

Over the last few weeks, we have been learning how to sing the gospel song ‘He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands’ and also learning how to play our own instrumental section using the glockenspiel.
 

This week we have been given our very own login details to the online hub of the Lancashire Music Service and used this to begin composing our own music! These login details will also be coming home with the children so they can have a go at composing at home.

Let’s see if we have any future Beethoven’s or Mozart’s in 3S.
